Great service! I went there for a screen replacement, and after I noticed them that the first replacement screen had a flaw, they offered to order me another replacement and replace it for me at no additional charge. The second replacement is perfect! Good job!

I had a Samsung Galaxy S7 with a broken screen and LCD digitizer, and my girlfriend had an Asus laptop that wasn’t holding a charge. Dropped it off at 1:30pm, and he had both of them done the same day by 4:00pm. $90 cheaper than any other place on campus too.

CJ is the man they got my phone fixed and running in 2 hours that had a bad charging port. I’ll never go anywhere else, as long as CJ is working there.

Great customer service at this location! I brought in a iPhone for diagnostics, and the employees said that they would try everything they could and would only charge me if the phone was fixed. After they were unable to “revive” my phone, they recommend a couple data recovery places and were even to help set me up with a replacement phone! All within the span of a few hours! Fast and efficient, just as how it should be!

Shattered the screen on my Deep Sea Blue Galaxy Note 8 and I couldn’t send it to a Samsung Service Center since I have a Korean model. Since CMS only uses US official parts they could only get a Gray or Black front-plate and screen, so now I have a two-tone Blue/Black Note 8. Oh well, cant be helped. In regards to the fix, the phone is good as new, I don’t notice anything on my DayDream headset.

Came in here over 5 different occasions to repair my Lumia 1520. Its an older model, and Windows, but these guys really kept it alive. I’ve since moved on to a Note 8, but that Lumia still works like new.

Service was quick, polite, and informative. My screen was repaired and I was sold an awesome screen protector. My second visit was because my phone was separating and he fixed that too. It’s been over a year since my visit and still have the same phone when no problems. The price was super reasonable and since I didn’t have insurance on my phone I saved hundreds of dollars.

The employees were great and friendly, and advised me with different ways to solve my problem. I had a cracked screen for my phone, and they advised that I get a new phone and transfer the data to it, because getting just the screen fixed takes $230 for my phone. Transferring the data takes only around $60. I think this shows how they actually care about fixing my problems rather than just raking money in.

I needed a new battery in my old Motorola Droid 2. The charging port no longer worked (apparently a common problem with the model) so I had to charge it wirelessly. It was slow going and as soon as I started using the phone after charge, the battery life would plummet, giving me about 40 minutes on a “full charge”.
I made a convenient appointment on line, and showed up on time…earning me a credit off my bill! Work was done in about 30 minutes. Very pleased, will give a couple more years of life to that old phone! (too cheap to buy a new one).

I had a great experience with Campus Mobile Solutions. I had very little wait time, reasonable cost, and expert advice. It was a Sunday, and they sure came to my rescue with a mobile phone solution. I also bought some very cool blue tooth headphones while I was there, also a good price point. The guys there are so helpful to deal with dell problem. As an international student, I had trouble to make phone calls with dell officers and the guys in campus mobile solution help me make phone calls, about five times!

This is the best place to get anything fixed. I dropped my very new laptop and broke the screen. Campus Mobile Solutions were prompt with ordering the part to come in, gave me a half working rental screen so that I could work on assignments the week before a final paper was due, and CJ was SO KIND. I am forever grateful for making what was a really stressful situation, into an amazing experience. I will come here again if I ever have a problem, because they are nice, joyful people who love to fix tech, and they are fast!

They went way above and beyond and helped me fix my phone even though it required soldering. Most fix-it shops will simply turn you away if they have to do soldering but this place was willing to negotiate a non-standard rate and help me get my phone fixed quickly. This place is what shopping local is all about.
So given that they’re local, competent, and really care about their customers, I have no choice but to give this place five stars.

PLEASE READ! First of all, I highly recommend this repair shop! CJ was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to repairing the screen on my iPhone 7 Plus. I wish I would have listened to him about purchasing the OEM screen the first time. Forewarning to anyone who needs their iPhone screen repaired: Pay the money for the OEM screen. DO NOT buy the aftermarket screen! The poor quality of the aftermarket screen makes the user experience much less enjoyable to the point where it’s annoying to use. I dare say I enjoyed using my original broken screen more than the new aftermarket screen. Moreover, there is a HUGE difference in colors, image quality, responsiveness, and refresh rate. I repeat DO NOT buy the aftermarket screen if you can spare the additional cash! These guys let you swap out the aftermarket screen and pay the difference for the OEM but don’t make the mistake I did and waste everyone’s time by not listening to their advice. These guys know what they’re talking about!

Soooooo great! My computer won’t turn on and I sent it here for repairment. Within 40 minutes I received the email, telling me it was repaired and ready for pick-up. Highly efficient! I went into campus mobile solutions after having an issue with an insurance claim; CJ was incredibly helpful and not only assisted in trying to solve the issue (was the 3rd party insurance that messed up) but advocated on my behalf for over an hour. This was even after it appeared he would not be compensated properly from the vendor; even after this he attempted to offer solutions for my issue. While I was able to eventually get an upgrade from my company due to these issues, I still STRONGLY reccomend seeing these folks to help with your issue. CJ in particular. It is refreshing to know that there is a quality care center here in champaign that is able to address major computer repair. We found the technicians to be quite stellar in diagnosing and fixing our laptop and the cost was surprisingly in accord with our budget. We will look to them for our future needs in this arena.

CJ was GREAT! I called and asked if he could replace an iPhone 6 battery and he said yes and they were in stock. He said it wouldn’t take but about 20 minutes. Super. I took it in and he replaced it while I watched and it took him about 15 minutes. Plus he told me not to charge it til it got to 10% capacity as it would help the battery out. That was real nice. 40 bucks. Great deal. I had been calling Simply Mac at the mall and all they did was give me the run-around and it would take 5-7 DAYS! Not that my time is all that important but 5-7 days vs 15 minutes is no contest.

Needed a new battery for my iPhone 4, and was traveling (visiting from out of town) so I didn’t have a lot of time. Despite it being an old phone, Campus Mobile Solutions had a battery to fit. They were courteous, and in just 2 hours I got a call where I was staying that they were done. It turned out the technician also cleaned it because he said he noticed some dust inside that could interfere with contacts. The price was about 1/3 what a certain battery store had quoted me a month before in another city (it was too much, so I didn’t do it then). Couldn’t ask for better service, so they deserve 5 stars.

Great service and super fast!

So here’s the thing, I don’t typically post reviews but this place is great. Over the years I’ve had several repairs made to several iPhones at several places. After having my phone fixed here last, I will never go anywhere else. They used better parts than others I’ve had in the past and on top of that their service was second to none. They were extremely quick with my repair and there was a wonderful pup to pet along the way. I would not go anywhere else if I were you.

Another repair place back home botched the screen replacement for my HTC 10 by completely messing up the glue holding the screen to the phone. Brought it to these guys and 30 minutes later they had shown me what the last repair place did wrong, fixed it, and even cleared out my speaker so that everything sounds better than ever! Highly recommended

I think these guys definitely put the customer first, before making a quick buck. When I came in for a MacBook battery fix, the manager suggested that I might get a better deal at an Apple store even they could do it there if I wanted. Also, after a prior diagnostic with them for my MacBook Pro where they were very quick and very affordable (10 days faster and $10 cheaper than Simply Mac in Champaign, BTW), they gave me store credit for the entire diagnostic fee I paid, which the manager later honored without hesitation when swapping out my iPhone battery. That took like 5 minutes, shorter than the time I spent waiting at Fedex next door :)

My iPhone 4 battery was apparently dead while I was visiting Champaign on a trip. Lacking any personal recommendation, I picked Campus Mobile Solutions from a Google search, based on good reviews. The reviews were justified: they replaced the battery (and cleaned the phone as well) in a couple of hours for $20 + tax, way less than I’d expected. Service was courteous and fast; they texted my other phone when it was done. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Hats off to Ishaan, the tech person today at the store.

I would recommend this place 100 percent. I took a laptop in to be repaired and they were amazing. Very professional and up front with the cost.

They’ve fixed my iphone twice, both times while I’ve waited and both times with great success. The second time they even charged me less and I didn’t ask for the discount (that maybe they give as a standard discount if you’ve had the device repaired their before). I’m going in today to see if they can fix a phone for me that was repaired in Orlando and not done well. I’ve never had a problem with their screen repair and they’ve gone above and beyond everytime I go in. Besides, they have a pet mascot – who doesn’t love that?

Brought my MacBook Pro for a trackpad issue. He told me my options, and was very thorough and fairly priced. After picking up my MacBook, they stated they were able to fix it in a quicker and easier method, and cut my invoice in half. Later, the issue arose again and they gladly offered 100% store credit for the price I paid for labor. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service and efficiency. After revaluation they suggested it wasn’t worth fixing through their service and actually found a recall through Apple that may fix the issue.

My husband took his phone for a ride on top of his car going down route 45. It decided to jump off at 65 mph and did irreversible damage to itself. I took it to CMS, my first time, and the young man that helped me was great. He got me a replacement, changed over all my husband’s info and it cost me half of what my carrier was going to charge me. Yes, I will go back to CMS. Great people, great service and great prices.

Phone screen broke right before going on a business trip. The screen wasn’t cracked so fixing it could have required a non standard repair he usually wouldn’t do (such as soldering). CJ was able to price me on the non standard service because I was in a tight spot (two other places turned me away) but then was completely honest about being able to fix it for cheaper with a standard screen swap. In addition, the store was clean and decorated with Illini gear. This place is what people are talking about when they say the main economic driver in this country is locally owned businesses. Don’t go to a chain where the guy only cares about making his $12 an hour and the money goes to a corporation; go to a place like this where the owner is committed to providing value to his community and prices are the same or cheaper than the chains.

Hats off to these gentleman! They are always honest and extremely fair when it comes to helping people out. Whether it’s a broken screen (I’ve had my fair share) a broken camera (had that too) or a broken computer (unfortunately had that one too) or any other electronic needs, they’re here to help! This is the only place in town I will let touch any of my electronics. Check em out!

Down to earth and honest guys work here who really just want to help you with your tech issues. They’re willing to try or do anything to help you, and they’re fast! Would definitely go to these guys again if I have problems with my phone/computer. They also don’t charge a ridiculous price like other tech solution stores.

We had to visit the store due to 3 iphones, one had a small crack, the second screen was shattered and the iPhone 6 battery was needing replaced as it was not holding the charge. I thought all 3 had screens that were cracked/broken but CJ was quick to point out that the third phones screen saver was cracked, but not the screen. Glad they were honest and showed me what they were doing. CJ had all 3 phones repaired and out the door in no time. I had called around and found out that some stores use a cheaper quality of glass, I loved that CJ also took the time to explain the quality of glass used at their store, and they warranty their work! I am sold on this store. All repairs will be taken there from now on. CJ you rock!!

Had a great experience here even though my computer ended up not being fixable (motherboard was fried). They did a great job diagnosing and trying to help fix my device. They offered me multiple soutions and fair prices. Plus, the cost of the diagnosis goes toward any repairs I may need on any device I bring in in the future.

When my iPhone suddenly died, I bought a used one from them. They have a reliable, long warranty/repair period for the used phones they sell, which is good peace of mind. I came in to the Neil Street location one Tuesday after work. I didn’t get the guys name working but he spent over an hour repairing my cracked iPhone screen and was incredibly helpful the whole time. Great customer service skills and he also gave me a deal for being a returning customer. I highly recommend this place.

visiting from out of state, forgot my charger. These guys rented me the charger off one of their own PCs so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced, even offered to charge it for free. They went out of their way to help !!!

These guys really care about their customers. I’ve gone to them several times for help and each time I’ve been able to get my problems fixed within a day or so, and if it’s still having issues they make it no issue to fix the issue.

Extremely helpful and courteous. I have been there multiple times. Once, I had bought an Iphone charger that was not working perfectly. I had thrown away the box and the receipt. Despite that they replaced our faulty mobile charger. They are the place to go in Champaign-Urbana, in order to resolve all your mobile phone related issues.

The guys that work there work miracles! I somehow always do something to my iPhones. Rather I break my screen to my phone bent. I’m a horrible customer because I normally deal with one of the staff members which is the miracle worker and don’t remember his name. I really don’t know what I would do without him or the store! Well I would have had to buy a new iPhone three times by now. But because of the exceptional staff, above excellent service, and excellent products, I have saved so much money. My phone screen was shattered and I thought the worst, the phone is toast.
30 minutes later I had my phone and it was working like nothing had happened to it. They were very up front on pricing and the whole process. Anymore problems I will definitely go back.

I went to Campus Mobile Solutions (604 S Neil St, Champaign–strip mall behind Tepper Electric) to get a new battery for my iPhone. They replaced my old battery on the spot for $40. Plus, I sat and waited with their sweet dog by my side. No hassles trying to get an appointment through Apple support at an Apple Store. Looks like Campus Mobile also does general computer and phone repairs, too.

They were really helpful when I was dumb and spilled coffee on my laptop. They had it cleaned on the same day I brought it in and made sure it worked great.

Highly recommend! Came here last week. My screen was cracked, unresponsive, had lines going up and down the entire thing. They fixed it up perfectly, and put an awesome screen protector too. They used an official screen for my iPhone 6, as compared to the cheaper screen I had when I got it repaired somewhere else the last time. Didn’t take too long to fix, about 30 minutes for the phone screen. The staff are very friendly and professional. Go here first!

These guys are hysterical. I went in because I thought my camera screen was cracked- turns out it was just dirty….. I appreciate that they didn’t take advantage of my stupidity and charge me for a screen I didn’t need. Then they cleaned my phone and suggested a new case because mine is almost antique. So they put on a new case- which was way more affordable than prior cases and screen protectors I have purchased. Overall- they were super helpful and I would highly recommend them if you have any phone issues!

Third repair of the same I pad 4. First was a broken screen. Great job but after about 9 months the touchscreen got buggy. Second repaired under warranty. Third due to another drop on concrete and I had them replace the battery. If I broke a phone screen I would take it to them but they have done great jobs on a iPad.

My apple iPhone plug in charger receptical broke. I thought I wood have to buy a new iPhone after spending several years figuring how to work the iPhone systems. When my phone randomly crashed, they worked for hours and tried everything to get it to work! Had to do a factory wipe, but I had everything backed up so it was no problem. They know their customers are poor college kids, and they are considerate; they don’t overcharge or try to take advantage of their customers. Great place, would definitely recommend!

Campus Mobile Solutions was extremely friendly, easygoing, and the employees were very nice. I took my phone to get fixed at 6 P.M. but told them I wouldn’t be free until 8:30. Well they closed at 8 P.M. and stayed around until 8:30 so I could get my phone. Next day, I dropped my phone off my lap and the screen cracked…again. I took it back to get fixed and asked if there’s anything they could do. Reasonable price for the repair, very fast turnaround. There was actually a problem with the repair that had been introduced during the work, but they fixed it almost immediately without charging any additional fee. Would definitely have them do any repairs in the future.

I came in with an iPhone with a battery that had swollen the screen loose. They said they could replace the battery, but the screen would also have to be replaced. I told them just to replace the battery and I would glue the screen myself. They replaced the battery for about $50, and when the technician brought the phone back, the screen had been glued back on, no extra charge. Deal of the century.

Came into the store with a brutally shattered iPhone 7 plus and came out with a brand new looking phone with a screen protector and a case along with warranty for about 300$, that sounds like a lot but he fixed the device in less than 30 mins with original apple parts, every fix you can come back up to 2 breaks and it will be fixed for free after that each break is 50$, however you can buy lifetime warranty that covers any damage to the device that is irreversible they will give you a brand new device for 100$ and every screen fix after one year is only 50$ with original apple parts. This place is great. I brought my phone in for a screen replacement. I then cracked it again just the next day (completely my fault). When I brought it back, they fixed it on the spot and gave me a big discount.

When I dented the back case of my iPhone 7+ I figured I was pretty screwed. CJ was extremely helpful and went beyond expectations to get me exactly what I needed (and at an affordable price). He had my phone up and ready to go the same day while other places in town quoted me at a much higher price AND wait time. I’m very happy with the results and service, can’t recommend them enough!

This place has always helped me in my technological time of need. When I couldn’t get my laptop to connect to internet a week before finals they helped and found a cheap and permanent (1 year later) solution. I went here for the first time yesterday to get my little brother’s phone fixed. The service was amazing and so was the actual store itself. The guy who helped us, CJ, was very informative and honest about everything that was needed and done to fix the phone. He even gave my brother a discount, along with a free screen protector. Everyone who works there is very nice, and we will be going there for any future phone problems we may have! Also, it only took him 15 minutes to switch out the old phone screen for a new one. I’ve broken my phone countless times and have gone to many different phone repair stores to get it fixed, but this was by far the best experience I have had thus far. They thoroughly explained what exactly went wrong with my phone and showed me how their pieces that they use to replace my phone are visibly at a higher quality than the one’s that other stores used to repair my phone with in the past. In addition, it only took maybe 25 minutes or so to fix my cracked screen when usually it can take over an hour or so at other places. Outstanding service, recommend 100%!

Cracked my screen at work.  Took it in to these bros, and it was fixed not only in 30 minutes, but it was SUPER affordable.  I’m tellin you, you need your phone, computer, tablet, whatever it may be, fixed, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!  Friendly, knowledgable, fast.  I hope my screen never cracks again, but if it does, I know a place that will have it back up and running in a snap!

No words to describe how great this place is. After calling a few places about fixing my Galaxy Note 5 (which all declined), I called Campus Mobile Solutions. I should’ve called them first. Not only are the guys there extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, their prices can’t be beat. Dropped my broken phone off and picked it up fixed in under two hours. A++

Campus Mobile Solutions is AMAZING! I called before I went in to get a price quote and they were very honest. My first visit was to repair my shattered screen. The guy on the phone (sorry, I don’t know any of their names, but they’re all equally helpful) gave me a price of $140, but factored in a bunch of discounts I could possibly get depending on the overall condition of my phone. There is also an I-Card discount of $5 off repairs. You also can’t beat the convenience of them being on Green St. My second visit (literally just got back from) was for a battery replacement: $60. The guy replaced my battery in 10 minutes…I watched him do it the whole time, it was pretty neat. As he was reassembling my phone, he took one look at my beat up, cheap plastic case and replaced it with another one…no questions asked and didn’t charge me for it. He also buffed out the fingerprints off my screen! It’s the little attention to detail that makes me really appreciate CMS. They’ll always be honest with you about costs and warranties. I’d recommend them to anyone!

They know what they are doing. Screen cracked on my daughters iPhone and they replaced the screen after giving me a couple different options, yes that’s right I had options instead of someone telling me what I wanted or needed. Quick service we were in and out in about 20 minutes with a fixed phone and an awesome protection case that has a guarantee to fix the screen if it cracks in that case.

They were fast, and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable. When the phone could not be repaired to my satisfaction (because of the damage I did to the phone), they offered a credit toward a different phone they had on hand.

I have been coming here since early 2014 and just went back today as well to replace the back panel of my S6 Edge+. The two main guys there are CJ and Miko. These guys have been very friendly and extremely professional when it comes to their service and have a great level of knowledge when it comes to Gadgets. They take good care of their customers, especially their regulars, and really hook you up with your Gadget needs and go that extra step personally to help you achieve what you came in for in the first place. And the cherry on the icing here their prices. Very good price for merchandise and services.

Most honest, fair, and fastest guys you will ever go to. I went in with a charging port issue on my iphone 5 hoping to get it replaced. I was expecting a $60 cost. When I told them it was my charging port and needed a replacement he asked me “how do you know it’s the charging port?” to which I presumed he was trying to upcharge me more for more parts but this wasn’t the case at all. He then told me “How about I fix it for you in 5 minutes for $10”. I was incredulous. He pulled out the lint with a pair of tweezers and showed me the problem. At any other location I would have been charged the full cost of diagnostics, repairs, replacement, and service and would have taken me more than 5 minutes to walk in and out.

Best place to get your phone fixed. The guys in there are so kind and really know what they are doing. They don’t charge too much and they explain exactly what they are going to do to your phone and why the cost is what it is. Welcoming environment too and fixed my phone several times when it’s been broken for many different reasons.

My favorite place and only place I will ever go to get my electronics fixed. Been coming here for about two years from broken cell phones to broken devices and I’d say 100 percent they have the best customer service out there! I can normally get my items fixed within the same day. CJ is the best when it comes to being personable and getting the best price out there. I recently broke my laptop and every other place said about 170-190 dollars. They were much cheaper than that (for a dell inspiron)! Couldn’t be happier with this company, thank you so much!

They fixed the broken screen on my phone in 30 minutes and cheaper than their main competition FixIt. They offer two options and I went with a better part option for $30 more. Still cheaper than FixIt. They offer $5 UIUC discount (not to be combined with Yelp’s $5 off offer) and threw in free protector.

Had my screen replaced in the past then had an issue with the new screen and they did do their best to stand behind the product and make it right even though the issue with the screen was not their fault. Above and beyond customer service, won’t go anywhere else for phone repairs!

Their services is super fast. I needed to get my charging ports for my HTC m8 and they were able to do it in just 3 hours. All of the other shop that I went to before going to this one would either said that it would take 2-3 day or it would be too complicated. Their prices were kind of high(I had to pay 70$), but considering that they had fixed my phone in 3 hours made it worth the money. Overall they were very professional,fast, they know what they’re doing and I would recommend their services to other. Ps. I love how they have a puppy that you can pet while you’re waiting.

I walked in today to get an estimate on a phone and the guys were friendly – friendlier than any other tech shop I’ve seen in a while. They know their stuff and they know what they’re doing. The guys were really personable and knowledgable. This isn’t a shop where you just come in and drop off your phone and “ok bye”. They make sure you get the best advice possible and they make sure you know what’s going on with your tech. To spend that kind of time to inform people who don’t know as much about phones/tech is something I think that sets this place apart from the rest. I doubt a customer would walk away from this place disappointed. Great job guys!

Campus Mobile Solutions was very professional and provided a quick turnaround. I called them to see if they could fix my 6th Generation iPod Nano because the power button was stuck. I brought it in for them to look at and they got started on it right away. They had to order a small part, and called me to make sure it was fine with me, and to update me on the timeline. All the employees I had interacted with were very enthusiastic and friendly about the work that they do. I would definitely recommend CMS to anyone looking to get their laptop, phone, or iPod repaired.

It is actually a pretty good place to gwt your phone fixed. I cracked my phones display in the morning and they were able to replace the screen by the time I was done with class. Really quick service.

Definitely the best place to get your phone fixed in the whole Champaign Urbana  region. After breaking my phone display I went to various stores trying to get a quick and cheap fix but unfortunately was left dismayed by the prices. Luckily a friend sent me to Campus Mobile Solutions and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Not only was C.J. a really cool dude but a helpful one at that. He got my phone fixed in under 30 minutes which was greatly appreciated. The best part though is that this establishment was able to not only fix my phone but provide me with a screen cover and a case for LESS than their competition was charging just for the display repair alone! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I dropped my iphone 5s off my balcony…it fell four stories onto concrete. I went in, told them I only had $150 and that I didn’t know if my phone could even be fixed (screen was shattered and completely black and frame was bent). They fixed it in under 30 minutes, and gave me Several discounts so that I could stay under budget…I even could afford a new case and a tempered glass screen protector with their help! They are kind and funny, I highly recommend and I will never go anywhere else to get a repair done :)

A different repair shop told me I needed a water treatment, an internal & external screen, and a new battery – $155. Here, they told me i needed none of that and added a small piece. $65. They r extremely knowledgable and ready to help. Very honest. Highly reccommend!!!

I went to Campus Mobile Solutions and they were able to clean out the port and get the phone charging for a fraction of the cost. Loved my experience there

I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S5 2 days after buying it. The case did nothing to protect it and I, of course, did not have insurance because I’ve never been in this situation. I looked into Mike’s Wireless and since the S5 had just been released, they had to ship it off to have someone fix it. I cannot go a week without a phone, so I looked into other solutions. I spoke with someone at Campus Mobile Solutions and they told me they would have to order a new screen, but once in, it would take 2 hours tops before I had my phone back. I wasn’t able to come in until after business hours and they said that was no problem. I was extremely pleased with the customer service and the price was acceptable. It was less than Wireless Mike’s and it was more convenient.
